Sometimes I choose the frog on what color I can see best. If Im casting long distance I want to still be able to see the frog coming over the pads, so green and yellow may be out.. and white may be the choice. But in all honestly as long as the belly is white or black I dont care too much about the back colorBass.Junkyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15805568563302633678noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6229573707825271325.post-72976958190417897872016-07-10T16:31:07.325-04:002016-07-10T16:31:07.325-04:00What is the best color??What is the best color??BrewerBoy99https://www.blogger.com/profile/00933610054600376507noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6229573707825271325.post-9659878043354621962013-01-01T19:21:24.407-05:002013-01-01T19:21:24.407-05:00Sorry I missed this question (I though I had repli...Sorry I missed this question (I though I had replied. YOu can frog fish with your 6,6" but a 7fter is better. The longer rod helps you pick up the slack quicker when muscling fish out of cover. I use a 7,3" or 8ft rod for all my frog fishing.

All in all the backbone or rods power rating is more important then the lengthBass.Junkyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15805568563302633678noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6229573707825271325.post-70668925593067183232012-12-20T00:19:25.748-05:002012-12-20T00:19:25.748-05:00oh what about my rod? i use a 6 foot 6 inch pole. ...oh what about my rod? i use a 6 foot 6 inch pole.
people say i need atleast a 7 foot rod or more, but im not sure.
Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10378895742211056731noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6229573707825271325.post-85220844414038874422012-12-10T08:24:50.267-05:002012-12-10T08:24:50.267-05:00Yes, 40lb braid will do the trick. I know many anglers get up into the 50,60 or even 80lb braid, I think this decision comes down to how pick the hawgs in your lakes are, and what you will be pulling them out of. Personally 40lb braid will get the job doneBass.Junkyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15805568563302633678noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6229573707825271325.post-59732609580562356272012-12-09T18:21:40.453-05:002012-12-09T18:21:40.453-05:00I use 40lb braid when i fish frogs, is that ok ?I use 40lb braid when i fish frogs, is that ok ?Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10378895742211056731noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6229573707825271325.post-15859648384089712532012-07-17T10:48:55.935-04:002012-07-17T10:48:55.935-04:00thanx Greg, I have a agree, this is a great baitthanx Greg, I have a agree, this is a great baitBass.Junkyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15805568563302633678noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6229573707825271325.post-68703704267448098242012-07-16T11:16:00.734-04:002012-07-16T11:16:00.734-04:00Good review, I loooove my Pad Crashers! btw, they ...Good review, I loooove my Pad Crashers! btw, they are readily available at Dick's Sporting Goods as well.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00023286954436440425noreply@blogger.com
